Amanda Weathersby is a serial entrepreneur who has sold one business to a publicly traded company and one to her partners. She has worked as a business consultant for multinational companies, for startups and for small businesses. She has taught entrepreneurship classes for five years. Before starting her first business, she was the Vice President of Product Management and Product Development for Sprint.
The Weathersby Group (TWG) was Amanda’s first venture, created in 1990. The company provided consulting and staffing to high tech businesses in Washington, DC, Boston and New York. It grew to $15 million in revenue by 2000, when the company was sold to a publicly traded company.
Amanda and two partners founded McKinley Marketing Partners, an interim marketing management business, and she later sold her shares to her partners.
Amanda has participated in a variety of nonprofit programs. For five years, she has created the course content, developed an online support network and taught classes on entrepreneurship for the 100 Entrepreneurs Foundation. Their mission is to provide business information, insight and inspiration to wounded veterans and their families and caregivers.
Entrepology has consulted with small businesses a wide array of industries since 2011, providing strategic consulting, including defining new markets, products, and growth strategies. In addition, Entrepology provides business analysis and forecasts to help companies seek funding, sell their companies, and merge with or acquire companies. In addition, we’ve built tools for clients to help them manage their business growth.
Chris works with Entrepology LLC, providing business analysis and planning services for small businesses located in the Washington D.C. Metro area. Chris is currently employed by the Dept. of the Navy, as the financial analyst for the Navy's Council of Review Boards at the Washington Navy Yard in D.C. There he is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s financial management, including accounting, budgeting, analysis and execution.
A former Marine, Chris served with 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines out of Camp Lejuene, NC, deploying to Iraq, Afghanistan and the Horn of Africa from 2003-2007.
He serves as the COO and on the board of directors for 100 Entrepreneurs Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and assisting returning veterans pursue their entrepreneurial and business dreams.
